Nigeria has lowest life expectancy in West Africa

The life expectancy in Nigeria is 47 years, the lowest in West African. It is also 30 percent below the world’s average life expectancy.

Prof. Abdulsalam Nasidi, Project Director, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), said this on Thursday June 28th at the commencement of the second Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference of the state’s chapter of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA).
