Professor Adetokunbo Babatunde Sofoluwe,the Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos is dead.According to reports, Professor Sofoluwe slumped during a meeting, yesterday, at the Senate Chambers of the institution and was rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, (LUTH).
Vanguard gathered that he was confirmed dead after efforts to revive him failed.
Sofoluwe, the Professor of Computer Sciences was born on April 15, 1950 and was appointed the 10th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos on 31st January, 2010.
Sofoluwe graduated in Special Mathematics in June 1973 from the University of Lagos. He earned his Master’s Degree in 1975 and Doctorate in 1981 from Edinburgh University, Scotland.........Full Story
